Simon Bowden aka SKYGRASS has always had a natural lyrical ability. Excelling in poetry at a very young age, he was always fascinated by words and quotes. This developed into a love for reggae and dancehall music at age 7 as he vividly recalls hearing songs from artists such as Buju Banton and Shabba Ranks playing in Half Way Tree and on the bus ride home from school. Songs he would sing over and over to himself when most children his age would be playing games or doing homework.
